Just a Look Around Town

I've been so busy lately and still need to get pictures taken for school. I have some great ideas, but very little time to acheive them, so I've decided to just go out when I can and snap pictures along the way. These are a few of what I've taken this week. None are super creative but they'll work for class. I think I'll struggle to finish all of my assignments.
I went to the cemetry where my dad is burried to take some pics. I love this old cemetry. The headstones go back to the late 1800's. These are just two of my favorite shots.
Night photography is always fun too. My mom and I decided to squeeze in a little extra fun after Madison's Singing lesson on Monday. Here's a couple pictures I got.

Well on to another week! In the morning I will be leaving for the Grand Canyon. I hope to get some great shots there. I've already informed my hubby that he'll have to carry a couple of extra things so that I can bring my camera and equipment... :) He must love me!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by.

Love Thursday!

Okay, I know this is a silly bowl of cereal. It was truely a heart while I was eating it, I just made it a little more pronounced for "Love Thusday". Love Thursday to me, signifies all the love in this world around us. I've seen some other blogs that take different pictures of heart shaped objects and things that represent love to them. No, Cherrios doesn't represent love...it's the heart that does.

Anyway, I wanted to start spreading the Love! Hopefully I'll remember by next Thursday.

Thanks for visiting on my first Love Thursday!

Almost Time for Trick-or-Teating

Here is a sunflower from the Pumpkin Patch that we visited. I thought it was so pretty. Sunflower's are truely amazing!

The kids picked out a couple of little pumpkins for the holiday. We still haven't got a big one yet. It's such a waste of money and Madi is allergic to pumpkin, so she can't even enjoy the carving part. And to be honest, I don't like to carve pumpkins in the first place. We'll see what happens. The kids think it's sacreligious not to display the cute little carved guy for the neighborhood kids.

These little piggies raced for oreo's. It was so cute! All the kids loved it!

Here's my two little monkey's pretending to be dead...kinda sick, but they thought it was so funny.

Anyway, I'm sleepy, so I'll go now.
Thanks for stopping by!

A Proud Moment!!!

It's been so long since I've had the time to check in with everyone's posts and add something of my own. I've been working a lot of hours. Of course, I've been working my regular WTC job, Monday through Friday and also working at The Picture People almost every night including all day on Saturday and Sunday...not to forget school on Tuesday evenings. I think I'm a little in over my head right now...what do you think? I guess I wasn't thinking when I told The Picture People that I could work nights and weekends that they would take that as I can work every night and every Saturday and Sunday. Don't get me wrong, I'm having a blast. I'm just a little tired. Anyway, my point is that I have had very little time to take my own fun pictures, so you get my latest school project accomplishment. We were only required to repair a portion of a damaged photo, but I had tonight off (at the last minute) so I played and restored the whole darn thing. What do you think???

An Original Picture that I took from the Internet

My Restoration :)

I'm so proud of myself! And I LOVE PHOTOSHOP!!!

Hope everyone is well, thanks for stopping by!

The Miramar Air Show & The Blue Angels

We decided to spend a couple of hours at the Miramar Airshow today. We are so glad we did. There were a lot of neat planes and people to see. Here are some of what you missed if you weren't there...

Rob was so happy to see The Blue Angels. The last time we made it down here to the air show was seven years ago. Madison was a baby and not enjoying herself to much so we ended up leaving right before The Blue Angels flew. I remeber Rob was so sad...it wouldn't have been so bad, except that they started flying as we were on our way back to the car. Well, he got to enjoy the whole Blue Angel performance this time and the kids loved it too!

Here are a few of the men that are serving our wonderful country!

Here is a nice looking Service man for all of you single girls to take a look at. I have a feeling he is a bit into himself, but that's okay, he's cute!

This picture was for Rob...he hates feet! I, on the other hand, thought this women's feet were adorable!

Check out my cutie pies!

Cheese!

And, what would a huge event like this be like without a ton of stinky porta-potties and a ton of trash?

Here is the most complex plain I saw at the show, it flip and turned and did all kinds of things...without even having a pilot flying it!

Some more cuties I found at the show!

The three Stooges!

No, the picture is not upside down, the writing is upside down on the airplane!

My little pilot!

Okay, well it's late and I have nothing more to say...except...Aaaaaahh (that was abig fat yawn)!

Thanks for stopping by!
