My Sunday Morning at the Wild Animal Park

Last Sunday morning I had about three hours to kill while daddy and the kids got up and ready for the day. So I decided to run down to the San Diego Wild Animal Park and take some pictures . I got to the park right after it opened and ran around like a crazy woman for a couple of hours. I must say I had a blast! Unfortunately, my favorite animals weren't giving me great photo ops. The giraffes were all out in the far distance and I don't have that huge of a lens yet and the elephants were still eating up by their bedrooms, so those pics were difficult too. I didn't mind too much though because I did get some other cute little critters instead...well actually they were mostly big critters. Here are a few of my shots from the morning...

Sorry, I had to!

The Gorilla getting poked is the older of the two...the more dominant. And you can imagine his reaction...he was...well, let's just say pissed! It was a really funny couple of seconds. Those two had the whole crowed in histerics, especially the kids!

Hope you enjoyed the pictures...right up to the end! Hee-Hee :) I crack myself up!

Thanks for stopping by!

Playing At the Park

Well, Gran was coming out for a visit...so what better thing to do than go to the park and take pictures! We had fun...and the kids did too!Makayla & Madison

Baby Sophie & Her Uncle Rob
The big mouth came too! Hee-hee! I love getting these pics of Lyndsey yelling at her kids. Probably because it's usually me doing all of the yelling. It's a nice change...Sorry Lyn.

The Boy! Who doesn't care for the camera. Luckily Gran got some great pictures of him.

Okay this picture cracks me up! Madi & Mick were acting out different ages. Can you guess their age in this one??? Notice Makayla is holding her pretend cane, both girls are squinting because their vision has gone down the drain and they're slouched over cause their backs are...well...Old.

So, can you guess the age???

It's 30! Yeah, I can't wait til they hit 30! It's not as old as they think!

Anyway, Thanks for visiting & sorry it's been so long!

First Day at 4th Grade was a Success!

Madi was up before the alarm today. Which is a very nice change for me! She had all her clothes on, her hair done and her fashion accessories in place before I was even somwhat dressed. Madison looked so adorable and she was so happy with her style today.

Normally I wouldn'thave let her wear those earings to school, but I didn't have the heart to tell her, after how proud she was :) I did mention later that the big play earings were okay for the first day, but not for everyday. I think she was thrilled that I didn't make her take them out. She is so much like I was at that age...I understand the need for glam!

Madison's Daddy and me were having fun teasing Madi about this next picture. There is a boy at her school, Lawrence. He is a cute little guy from Russia, with a very unique personality. I just love him and think he's a cutie, but Madi...well she thinks he's "gross". So we were teasing her, saying she was thinking of Lawrence in this picture :) Her reply was... "No Way! He's Disgusting". I think she might change her mind in a few years. We'll have to wait and see. He really is a sweety!

Here's another cutie pie, sweet boy!

Can you tell Madi's getting sick of the poparazzi...and so soon! Sorry Gran, I tried!

On our way...I'm not allowed to hold the cell phone anymore in California while I'm driving, but there's no law against camera holding...I don't think they make a hands free camera yet???

Conner's sick of the Poparazzi too

We made it

This was all I was allowed Gran. Madi wouldn't even look back until I put the camera away. She's too hip now. Anyway it was a great day. She had fun with her friends and her new teacher was nice. She did say there was a little too much reading, but had a good day anyway.
Thanks for checking in today!

Madi Get's Ready For the First Day of 4th Grade!

Madi starts fourth grade tomorrow and she wants to have curly hair...so, we braided, and braided and braided.

Today we got all of our last minute shopping done for school clothes and school shoes, bla, bla bla! It was totally packed at the mall! I think everyone in town procrastinated until the last day... just like me. We didn't mind though. It was fun spending our loot on new stuff for 4th grade and Madi even saw a couple of her friends out and about.

She's so excited to start, and her teacher Mr. Miller seems really nice. He's a big Charger fan, Harley Davidson Lover & Winnie the Pooh Lover. I don't quite get the Winnie the Pooh obsession, but that's okay.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

A Day At the Car Wash ~ With Conner

Our little boy LOVES cars! And he loves to wash his cars. Saturday, Conner decided he would have one of his weekly car washes in the backyard. It's always fun to watch. Usually his big Sissy helps, but she was busy rockin' out to Miley Cirus & The Jonas Brothers in the house.

Here Conner is spinning the top of the sprinkler with the water spray. This can keep him entertained forever!

Getting the Next Car Ready

Wash...Wash...Wash

The Clean Car Line-Up

Playing with the hose in the pool...another thing that will entertain Conner for a very long time.

Lucy just wanted to say "Hi" & "Thanks for Visiting!"
