Natural Beauty
Just an old tree stump and a flower I picked off a near by plant. I love how this picture turned out. I'm still amazed I took it...and with my little pocket sized camera. God has put some amazing things around us. We just need to press pause on our hectic lives every once in a while and notice the beauty that surrounds us. All of these photos are just in the small area of my yard. I need to stop and look around more often. Who knows what I've missed all these years!
Henry the Smiley Dragonfly
This little..okay...BIG Dragonfly stopped by for a visit one hot summer evening. This was the best shot I could get of him because he kept buzzing around. You can't see his fantastic coloring (Bright Orange/Rust), but you can see that he's happy...Notice his big SMILE :)
Garden Art
This little trinket was something I had to have but couldn't justify spending the money for at the time. Luckily, my Mommy loves me and surprised me with it. It is one of my favorite things. I hope that I can share it's beauty with anyone who visits me. It's always fun for kids too...they love to see their reflections in the glass globe when they're making funny faces! It's just a perfect addition to my yard!
Daisies
Who ever pays attention to the intricate construction of a Daisies center. Wow! This picture isn't in perfect focus, but I had to share it anyway. No wonder bugs love to pollinate flowers!
Ahh...The Rose
One of the best flower. They're beautiful and easy to grow. You can cut them and they don't close-up and die instantly. They come in a million varieties and colors. I love them!
PURPLE
What more is there to say? I Love purple! And Purple flowers are awsome!

O' Betty, don't be shy...we've all seen some of your amazing pictures! You're our inspiration! I need to learn how to get better pictures of people. I love the wedding photos you did wow! I'm not sure if it's my lack of talent or if I can blame it on the camera. Let's just blame it on the camera...well, until you show me how you do it the right way!

Well what a surprise Carla and Betty both in one day.
Thanks to you and others, I get a big lift out of trying to outdo myself and post things that may surprise some and make others laugh a bit and most of all make lots of people aware of things that might not know much about.
When somebody actually takes the time to write a comment about my work and what I do, that to me is the biggest gift a person can give another. It is a smile on greeting, it is a welcome handshake, and it gives me and my family some hope that the dementia farm is still down the road.
You, yourself, are an inspiration to me. I come back not only to say, "thanks for visiting and leaving a comment" but thanks for taking the time to photograph things of interest and great beauty. Without that, blogging would be about as exciting as a wart on the end of my nose.
So, thanks for stopping at my blog. And rest assured, when you do, I will always try to visit your blog, in return, and leave a comment on your blog. I might not think your photography is ready for the masterpiece award, but it got my attention. I like the blue lily and never saw one before.
