Who Doesn't Love the San Diego Zoo???

We had a blast at the San Diego Zoo yesterday. I love animals and plants. I could have stayed all night, but the family was tired after 5 hours. Thankfully I have season passes and can go back...without them :)

This little guy was trying to catch that dragonfly on the tip of that branch. It was very funny. He was pretty quick, just not quick enough. That pretty dragon fly got away.

Thanks for Visiting :) Hope you enjoyed the pictures!

Little Things That Make Maui Great!

Here are just a few things that I took pictures of while in Maui. Although some are really small, they add so much to the island!

Okay, this isn't a small thing by any means. This beach was absolutely beautiful. It was a very secluded black sand...black rock beach on the way to Hana. By the way, if you get car sick...don't take the road to Hana...BARF! No I didn't throw up, but I didn't make it to Hana either. It was an absolutely beautiful area, but the road was way to windy.

Here's a picture from my nautious point of view...laying face down on the beach. The rocks weren't so comfy, but when you're sick anything will do.

Pretty Flower! Okay, theere are a ton of pretty flowers and folaige so I won't comment on them all.

Aquaduct of some kind near the waterfall we jumped off

This is just a small part of a park we visited in the mountains towards the center of the island

O' this picture does not do this place justice. There were a million windsurfers in this one area. The water was circling around and those guys were moving as fast as cars. It was really neat to see. I think I want to take up wind surfing now.

My friend the Toad

I LOVE Lily Pads!!!!

Just a cool tree at our hotel

A couple more shots from the park in the mountains
,The Beach...Wish I could have caught one of the big waves, but I was too busy playing
Thanks for stopping by today!

Maui ~ The Wedding

Here are just a few of the photos I took from my trip. There are so many, but this will give you a good idea of how beautiful the actual ceremony was.
Uncle Robb & Aunt Kathie
Father & Mother of the Bride just before we headed to the ceremony

Me & My Hunka-Hunka Rob
On the bus ride to the ceremony

Ricky
The guy that says he doesn't have time to take photographs, that he likes to live life instead...
He was behind that camera all night!
These were parasols for guests to use to gaurd against potential rain or the hot sun.
They were a beautiful accent to the beatiful grounds.

These starfish were used for finding your table. Each starfish had a name and year (which was the table number). The tables had pictures of both Saul & Aly from that year. It was a lot of fun looking back to their younger years. Our table was 1988, so you can just imagine the hair styles & Saul's silver suit :)

Just a picture taken at the bar...a place that became extremely crowded later in the evening :)

Sushi appetizers...yum! The food was fantastic, by the way! They had everything!!!

Fans to keep us all cool!

The Groomsmen

Saul with his parents

The Bridesmaids

Aly with her parents

Saul & Aly during the ceremony...aren't they so cute!

Saul, Aly, Kaitlyn & Emma sharing in a family hug and kiss. What a great new family they have! I know they'll have many wonderful times together!
The perfect sunset to end the perfect wedding!

Congrats Aly & Saul!!!

Maui Here We Come!

This picture isn't Maui...but it's close (Oahu, HI)
I'm just about ready to shut down the computer so I can pack it for the trip! I leave the house at 2am, so I'm keeping busy while I wait. If I have wi-fi access in Maui, I'll post some photos of the trip & Aly & Sauls wedding. Hope you all have a great week. We'll miss all of you that can't be there with us!
